3. Do you need to re-invent the wheel?
As we said on the last page, as Salt and Light we aren't pushing any particular model, but we do think every church should be thinking carefully what they do. And, as there a lot of good resources around, we decided to develop this resourcefile website, to help each other and share good practice and ideas.
However... beware of simply copying others. It doesn't often work. By all means learn
from others, beg, borrow and steal ideas and use good off-the-shelf resources - but the most important thing is that you find the mind of God for your church - what he wants you to do. There are no short-cuts to this process.
