Resource review: Blowing your Cover

1. Plenty of variety and practical activities – and not just for those who are keen on outreach.
2. In the average small group use the workbook on its own. Each session has enough material for two meetings.
3. If a laptop with DVD drive is available, link it to a largish TV monitor and activate the slideshow. Many of the key points are illustrated, even animated, and answers come up on the screen. Follow instructions in Leader’s Guide when using presentation + workbook.
4. Keeping to the set order of modules, you can use it to major on evangelism for a while.
5. Alternatively, if you are using a 4 Ws framework, simply take the next subsection of "Blowing Your Cover" as a purposeful Word and Witness emphasis.
6. Placing the aspect of bringing people to Jesus right at the outset is a welcome re-emphasis. The average church member has never or hardly ever had the joy of doing this. We need to recover the dynamic of reaping alongside all the sowing we’re doing (John 4:31-38).
