It has been said that "Alpha has an obvious advantage compared to any other enquirers' course: increasingly people have seen it advertised, know of someone who has been on the course or had it recommended to them by an acquaintance."

But is Alpha all it is made out to be? Is it God-anointed, or simply one amongst many good courses? Does it work for you? And, is it right for enquirers in the very early stages of their spiritual journey, or are there better resources? And, parenting and marriage courses are also great ways to serve the community, and start to establish relationships with the unchurched.
