Cell notes and outlines: evangelism
![]()
Our resourcefile of cell outlines, designed to help you plan your meetings. Many are based on the popular welcome, worship, word and witness format, although feel free to pick and choose too! Many cell notes come as a mini-series, or 4-pack/6-pack, etc. Also note: here we use the word 'cell' to refer to any church small group, cell, community group, etc. that is a micro-community, committed to discipleship and growth.
| Resource | Type | Description | ||
| Workplace ministry | Life and work | A 3/4-week series based on the video by Mark Greene. The first video session introduces a theology of work, leading into the second session, which gives an excellent overview of ‘witness at work’, giving 6 ways we can be God’s people in our workplaces. You will obviously need to be sensitive to your group, for example with people who are unemployed, or retired! | ||
| Gaining new perspectives | Evangelism | This J John conference talk on DVD/video is funny, challenging and deeply profound, all at the same time. Available from Newfrontiers. | ||
| Your purpose in life | Evangelism | Rick Warren is an excellent communicator and carries a passion for the lost. And he’s funny! A 30-minute section (title 3, from 31:30 to 51:50) of this conference talk on DVD/video would make for excellent small group viewing and discussion. | ||
| Loving the Lost | Evangelism | 4-pack, from www.celluk.org.uk | ||
| One big question? | Evangelism | Cell notes based on Beyond the Fringe, a report published by LICC in March 2005, asking the man in the street: "If there were one big question you wanted answering, what would it be?" What emerged was a fascinating picture of spiritual Britain today, which turned on one key fact: everyone, no matter how materialist, atheist or nihilist they claimed to be, had at least one question they wanted answering. | ||
| Developing cell evangelism | Evangelism | A 3-pack developed for the student Fusion cells in Oxford Community Church exploring servant evangelism, proclamation and contemporary culture. | ||
| Family on mission: family | Evangelism | The first of two 4-packs around the theme of family and mission. | ||
| Family on mission: mission | Evangelism | The second of two 4-packs around the theme of family and mission. |
